The lawyer representing detained socialite Don Nasser has expressed confidence that his client will be acquitted of all charges.

According to the lawyer, Nasser is innocent, and the ongoing court proceedings are simply delaying his inevitable release. Drawing parallels with another trending case, the lawyer suggested that the outcome of Nasser’s trial will mirror that of a Hajji recently exonerated from rape allegations.
The lawyer cited the case involving a woman who accused her former husband, Hajji, of repeatedly raping their daughter.

While public sentiment initially supported the woman, recent developments suggest she has begun retracting parts of her statement, casting doubt on her earlier claims. Many now believe that the Hajji was falsely accused, and this has led to his exoneration.
The lawyer believes that Nasser’s case is following a similar trajectory. He claims that the accusations against Nasser are trumped up, and despite the prosecution prolonging the case by purportedly searching for evidence, it has not yet been forwarded to the High Court. He urged the public to remain patient, asserting that Nasser would soon be free of all charges.
“Did you all see how Hajjati Nusura’s case is turning out to be? The Hajji is innocent and was falsely accused. This is the same case with Don Nasser. He is clear of all the charges, which are trumped up, and very soon he will be released,” the lawyer stated.
In court yesterday, Nasser appeared alongside his co-accused. Both were remanded to prison until November 6th. However, the Magistrate informed Nasser that he could apply to the High Court for bail. Nasser’s legal team remains hopeful for a swift resolution to the case.
