Dolly Parton has again laughed off claims that she mimed during her Glastonbury Festival show.
The country singer performed a set full of hits including ‘9 to 5’ and ‘Islands in the Stream’ on the Pyramid Stage in front of over 100,000 music fans, but came under fire on Twitter where many speculated that she had mimed.
However, she told The Sun: “My boobs are fake, my hair’s fake, but what is real is my voice and my heart.”
Parton also denied the miming rumours on Sunday (June 29), when a representative of the 68-year-old insisted that her vocals were live.
“She sings live. Some people don’t know an amazing singer when they hear one,” Parton’s spokesman said.
Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis has said that Parton pulled in the biggest crowd she has ever seen during her debut performance at Worthy Farm on Sunday.
