Douglas Lwanga once again proved to his critics that he is not only ‘big size’ in the media but also a mastermind when it comes to event scheduling.This, as Douglas and his team took the Purple party to University Inn in Mbarara.
The event, which was the second in a space of just three months organized by the multi award winning media personality, attracted a very big number of revellers from the Western region of the country and also all over the world, the initial one being staged in Mbale earlier this year.
Despite the ever worsening economic situation in the country, party animals seemed unbothered and flocked the venue with their party shoes on and their pockets loaded ready to spend all they could in the night fulfilling the luganda proverb that says, ‘Eby’enkya bya nkya saagala kumanya.’
Top names like Zex Bilangilangi, Lydia Jazmine, Ray G, Feffe Bussi, Grenade,Dj Roja,Dj Mercy Pro, Dj El Nicho graced the event, also Mariachi,Mc Kats and Pallaso who in the last edition proved his loyalty to his job as he appeared on stage to entertain his people in a wheel chair after he had injured his leg while performing elsewhere.
Self styled, female, dazzling Tv personality turned deejay, dj zato also headlined the event as she elevated the crowds onto their feet to jam to her live mixes. She also excited the crowds when she gave chance to lucky fans to squeeze all the juice out of her body,leaving them yearning for more.
The Party returned to Mbarara after ages of shunning the region.Lwanga thanked all that managed to be in attendance, he also appreciated the efforts of all his sponsors for managing to put the event together.
