Djs in Uganda have gotten out of their comfort zones. Leave alone back then when they only waited to be contacted to curtain raise of play at an artistes event. They have now established themselves and showed transition by organsing their own events.
The living example can never be further than the dynamic duo of DJ Slickstaurt and Roja. The duo has for the past three years organized different editions of the Mixtape Party which has been a success and better with every new edition.
After introducing the Mixtape party at Club Venom in 2014 to two times at Laftaz Swimming Pool in 2015 and 2016, the duo is back with this years’ edition. Stuart and Roja are going to headline the fourth edition of the Mixtape Party at Golf Course Hotel on November 24.
The event will also have the duo not only showcasing their turntable skills but also perform live with artistes like Cindy, Kemishan, Jamal, Nutty Neithan and Ykee Benda whom they have songs together. This year’s edition will be handled and organized by Talent Africa C.E.0 Ali Alibhai.
