DJ Slick Stuart Joins NBS TV.

If any Ugandan media awards came up with the ‘category of the best poacher’, it’s with no doubt that NBS TV would bag it in just a blink of an eye and walk away in pride. The station has of recent surely done flawless works of poaching the best in the industry. After adding Douglas Lwanga, Jjingo Francis, Wisdom Kiyonga, Olive Eyotaru, Solomon Sserwanja, Rukh-Shana Namuyimbwa, Dean Saava, the Kamwokya based TV station has also added Slick Stuart on the team.

Earlier this year, the CEO Next Media, Kin Kalisa assured the public it was time to dominate and surely he is on the right path to that. In a bid to take up the number one entertainment station slot, the station has picked on the award winning deejay Slick Stuart, of the celebrated duo of Deejay Slick Stuart and Roja.

Stuart will officially join Douglas Lwanga, Anita Fabiola and Emcee Isaac on the Katch Up Show this Friday replacing Deejay E.

Rapper Young Zee is back.

The 19-year-old rapper who has been M.I.A on the music scene for sometime now has bounced back with a new single titled “Give Dem”. He collaborated with fellow rapper Ill Gee on the song.

According to our reliable sources, Zee had taken a break from music to concentrate on his studies. We have learnt that he has completed his studies and is back to doing music. To mark his return, he has rebranded to Zagazillions (Zaga Zee).

Signed to Swangz Avenue, he is known for songs like “Criminal Swag”, “I had a dream”, and “Ayayai” among others.

Broke Sipapa fails to pay rent, arrested for beating journalist

Embattled business man Charles Alim aka Sipapa is in hot soup after police raided his place and arrested him on double charges. Sipapa is alleged to have defaulted his rent arrears of about three months. It is reported that Sipapa who was being evicted also beat up a journalist who was on scene recording.

The now broke Sipapa is currently detained at Kira Police Station over assaulting a one Alex Bongole, a Spark TV Journalist who was taking pictures of him when he (Sipapa) was being evacuated from his house. Even though this is still a developing story, this is not the first time Sipapa has been arrested as a few months ago on 8th May he was charged with violating traffic rules after getting arrested along Kampala road.

On July 19, Sipapa was once again arrested for being a public nuisance and inconsiderate use of a motor vehicle at Kisekka Market in Kampala, following distress calls from business owners in the area.

Basket Mouth Robbed at Airport

Nigerian comedian Basketmouth has lashed out at the staff of Nigeria Aviation Handling Company over theft .He aired out his frustration on instagram saying the company should be ashamed for letting such things happen.

Basketmouth isn’t happy that these guys are still breaking into luggage belonging to travelers and stealing from them.

“I want to use this medium to appreciate NAHCO, you guys have been doing a great job handling our luggage at the airport…..however, I suggest you advice your staff to have small shame….just a little, I’m not asking for too much. Breaking into passengers checked in luggage isn’t romantic….it’s 2018. Charity begins @ home, not in the luggage of the airline passengers, “he wrote.

Singer, Tiwa Savage also complained about her luggage being stolen at the same Lagos airport some time last year.
