As he had said that he will soon retire from the field of deejaying, known deejay Kiberu Sharif alias DJ Shiru wants to leave space for the young blood.
According to the veteran deejay, he will name Ramathan Shafik alias deejay Fikie as his successor if he is to retire as a deejay, Fikie has been groomed and trained by Shiru for some time and it’s the time that he is unveiled to the public.
DJ Fikie will be unveiled on Monday at Laftaz Swimming Pool located in Centenary Park. At the event, 26 year old will play music for the crowd that will turn up for the show as he will also be giving out free mixtape CDs to the early birds.
The unveiling night will feature Performances from artistes like Feffe Busi, Aidan Quin and other fellow DJs that will be headed by DJ Shiru. DJ Fikie plays music at Jeff Kiwa’s Dejavu bar in Kansanga, Laftaz Comedy Lounge every Monday and WBS TV Turn it Up among other places.
