Renowned DJ Roja was arrested on awe hours of Wednesday morning from Laftaz Comedy Lounge where he was playing music that very night.
According to our sources, we have been informed that DJ Roja came to be arrested after a police patrol car drove to Laftaz Comedy Lounge and three armed police officers went straight to the deejay box before he was taken away to CPS.
We have learnt that upon reaching CPS, Dj Roja was informed that he was arrested of making noise pollution to customers at Hotel Africana since they have always complained of making noise for their clients.
However Dj Roja was saved by Laftaz Manager Jonathan who hurriedly followed him at the police and handled the matter as the bar manager as Roja was still explaining to them and was later released by police after a few hours.
It is said that the management of Africana Hotel has been complaining about the noise played at bars around Centenary Park since last year and the main focus being Laftaz Lounge since it pulls big crowds from Monday to Sunday.
