Galaxy FM’s DJ Nimrod has made headlines after publicly requesting an iPhone upgrade from musician Bebe Cool on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
The deejay promised to promote Bebe Cool’s latest song, Circumference, wholeheartedly in exchange for the favor.
In his post, Nimrod reminded Bebe Cool of a similar gesture in the past, where fellow deejay Aludah received an iPhone from the Gagamel boss. Nimrod’s tweet read:
“Dear @BebeCoolUG, happy new year. I remember at one time u bought some Deejays phones. My friend @DjAludah got himself an iPhone that time. So Mbade nsaba u do for me an upgrade from my 13 Pro Max to a 16 Pro Max. Nze I will die on Circumference.”
The post sparked mixed reactions online. While some fans found the request humorous, others criticized Nimrod for “begging” publicly.
However, Bebe Cool took the request in good spirits and confirmed he would fulfill it. Quoting the tweet, Bebe Cool responded:
