Digital art lovers and fans will once again witness a fresh edition of their favorite event which is the Digi Art Fest. The Festival will be happening for the 7th time after it’s initiation in 2017 with the first ever event happening at Acacia.

Digi Art Fest according to the organizer Laurean -Ntaate is an annual comic convention that brings together different players in the fields of Illustrations, Animations and Video Games among others. This edition according to Ntaate will run under the theme Stories because it will use digital art to tell different stories.

The event that will take place on December 1st and climax on 2nd December will this time not happen at Acacia but rather the new venue which is Design Hub located in Bugolobi, Kampala. The event will have many activities that will include competitions in Play station games, panel of discussions and merchandise sells and with an entrance of Shs25,000 each day, the festival goers will have a chance to choose where they want to focus while they access the venue.

The panel of discussion will have big names like Loukman Ali, a film producers and Director, Richard Malinga, a Director at Disney and David Masanso, a pioneer in Digital Art space. During last year’s edition which was under the theme Digital Art, the Next Frontier, the event featured a game jam for video game developers, exhibitions from comic book artists and animators and climaxed with a video game tournament where winners went home with prizes.

This year’s video game tournament winners will take home shs300,000 for the winner and Shs150,000 for the first runners up.
