Bongo movie star Wema Sepetu has finally broken her silence about the circumstances that surrounded her break up with Diamond. Wema had been dating the singer for years before finally calling quits late in 2014.
Wema who is currently said to be dating Ommy Dimpoz was speaking to Diva Bawse, a popular radio presenter in Tanzania. The two were having a private chat when Wema revealed that Diamond and her broke up while she was in China. The two didnt speak for a while until weeks later when Diamond’s mum fell sick.
“I was in China when we broke up and we didnt talk for quite a while, infact, I only contacted him when I learnt that his mum who is a good friend of mine had fallen ill,” she said.
Wema refuted claims that she texted Diamond to get back together with her. “We had dated for long and had our problems, we tried so many times to make it work but this time we realized it wasnt going to work,” she says.
As to whether she would get back with Diamond if she got the chance, Wema says she wouldnt because there would be issues of trust in the relationships that had long been a thorn in the flesh. She also urged her fans to stop attacking Diamond’s baby mama to be Zari. “Zari is a woman like the rest of us, she was wooed and fell in love with Diamond, there is no fault in that,” she says.
