East Africa’s musical sensation Diamond is taking Tanzania’s music scene to the next level and if he keeps this trend up he may soon be the most connected artiste around. This is thanks to his recent collaboration with South Africa’s impeccable group Mafikizolo, famous for the hit song Khona which saw them scoop top awards at the recent MTV MAMAs.
As it stands, Diamond is currently working with Mafikizolo for their next collaboration and this comes soon after he did a remix of his song “Number One” and featured Nigeria’s Davido on it.
Besides working with Mafikizolo, Diamond may also soon be working with Fally Ipupa from Congo clearly transcending the continent in regards to collaborations.
That said, Diamond’s connections seem quite impressive and he is clearly doing better than most of our Kenyan musical big shots. So far, we can only wait to see how well this translates to his musical career.
