Naseeb Abdul Juma, popularly known as Diamond Platnumz, is the biggest and most-sought after East African artist at the moment.
The Best International Act: Africa BET Awards nominee is good at what he does, always dropping new hit music, with some of the biggest collaborations in Africa.
Diamond, 26, recently released his latest song with Nigeria’s biggest duo P-Square, Kidogo, which became a hit song just in 24 hours, with fans across Africa and beyond streaming via YouTube to watch it.
The Nana debuted the song on July 12. It was produced by a Tanzanian called Shirko, while the music video was shot in Johannesburg, South Africa, and directed by Godfather productions.
Well, Diamond has broken a YouTube record with the song after it hit one million views in just four days. The pan-African music video has set a new record for the shortest period of one million YouTube video views any singer in the region has achieved.
The father of one could not contain his joy when he received the news and took to his social media to share the good news with his 2.5 million Instagram fans: “AND THE AFRICAN HISTORY WAS MADE!!!!!! 1Million + VIEWS WITHIN 4 DAYS!!!!! #KIDOGO by @DiamondPlatnumz ft P-SQUARE ….many thanks to my brothers @peterpsquare @rudeboypsquare …Media /Fans and all Behind this Project…”
