Tanzanian artist Diamond has revealed details pertaining his collabo with American RnB star Neyo who was in Kenya to record Coke Studio sessions which recently ended.

Diamond was speaking in United States where he met Nigerian artist KCee who requested to listen to his collabo with Neyo. Impressed with how the song was done, KCee asked Diamond to reveal how much he had paid Neyo for the collabo.

The Nigerian artist impressed with Diamond’s feat having not spent a single coin while Nigerian artists were parting with millions to land such collabos.

Diamond said it was a privilege for him to get such an opportunity without paying, a rumor that had been doing rounds for weeks until he cleared it out.

The issue of African artists paying millions of dollars to American artists for collabos is not new, Keith Sweat, an American RnB star is said to have made a killing from what he was paid by Ugandan rapper Navio for a collabo.
