Bongo stars Ali Kiba and Diamond Platnumz were once the best of friends, until music became their source of competition and envy, with each accusing the other of stealing their songs and ideas.
The two don’t see eye to eye, and you will never find them in the same concert or performance and have never done a collabo apart from Diamond’s song ‘Lala Salama’, where Ali Kiba is said to have been featured as the original writer.
Well, it looks like the two are trying to patch things up after Diamond paid respect to the ‘Mwana’ singer, by hanging a photo of him on the wall of WCB Record studio.
Diamond, being the CEO and founder of WCB Wasafi, and his manager decided to show off some of the artists the ‘Nataka Kulewa’ singer respects, and Kiba happens to be one of them.
Though this looks like Diamond wants to make peace and let the past be the past, there are some people who feel that this is just a publicity stunt since Diamond is set to drop a new collabo with Nigerian duo, P-Square.
Well, we can only hope that the two talented singers, Ali Saleh Kiba and Naseeb Abdul Juma can patch things up already and maybe surprise their fans with a collabo. Check out the video showing Ali Kiba’s photo below.
