Tanzania’s fast-raising artist, Zuchu is labelled in a double release for her new songs ‘Litawachoma‘ and ‘Cheche‘ (Side2Side project) featuring her WCB Wasafi boss, Diamond Platnumz.

‘Litawachoma’ is a Kiswahili word to mean ‘It will burn them’ and ‘Cheche’ means ‘Spark’.
Litawachoma is a fusion of Afro Pop and Taarab music genres.
Cheche incorporates Afro Pop, Taarab and a sample of some Reggaetón.
Zuhura Kopa, better known by her stage name Zuchu, is a Tanzanian musician, songwriter and recording artist signed under WCB Wasafi Records label Diamond Platnumz leadership.
Zuchu is best known by her song “Wana”, which introduced her to the world of music.
The addition of Zuchu WCB Wasafi in 2020 brings the number of artistes at label to six who include, Rayvanny, Mbosso, Lavalava, Queen Darleen and Diamond Platnumz himself.
Zuchu comes from a musical family and background. She is a daughter of the revered female Taarab musician, The best Khadija Kopa.
She started singing at a tender age and later collaborated with her mother Khadija Kopa on a song titled Mauzauza from her debut EP titled ‘I am Zuchu EP’.
She is one of those close friends to singer Diamond Platnumz and this has drawn a lot of attention from the public.
Their most worrying closeness was disclosed earlier this year when Zuchu accompanied Diamond for shopping an act that his past fiancées were fond of.
