When we broke the news that Nutty Neithan had been appointed the new iDroid Africa ambassador, many people were unhappy with the news. Some hoped it was not true but unfortunately the iDroid bosses had made up their minds.
We have landed on the details of the deal where the Bakuwe Kyonywa singer will be the new face of the phones in Uganda.
Nutty will be paid Ugx 7.5 million every month as part of the Ugx 120 million contract that he signed with iDroid Africa. He will be expected to advocate for the brand among the youth, do shows, radio ads and TV ads at some point in the contract.
Since Nutty is not as busy as Chameleone, the custodians of the brand believe that he will have more time for their work and will keep the brand fresh in people’s minds.
The Supanova artiste who will be working with Dr. Jose Chameleone as a brand ambassador will start working soon.
