A Nigerian man has been handed a death sentence for attempting to smuggle drugs into Malaysia.

The man, 35-year-old Abuchi Ngwoke, who is Desire Luzinda’s ex-lover’s brother was sentenced to death on Tuesday, 25 November, by a Malaysian High Court for trafficking drugs into the country.

Ngokwe was arrested in 2012 at a Malaysian airport after being caught with 251.66 grams of methamphetamine, which he supposedly ingested in Nigeria prior to getting on the flight to Malaysia.

Although the sentencing has been done, the date of execution is yet to be communicated.

His sentence comes days after Police at Naguru questioned Desire Luzinda about her Ex-Lover Franklin and his connections to drugs. Franklin is reported to have forged a Ugandan passport in the names of Frank Mugisha at one time.

We shall keep you posted.
