Revellers were filled with joy last Friday when Desire Luzinda entertained them at Bobi Wine’s year ender Busabala concert. What made them even happier was when the singer stepped off the stage and started supplying free condoms to the public.
According to a source close to Desire, the condom give away was to send a message to the public that safe sex is key in modern Uganda.
“She wants people to be safe. Most men hit on her these days and she knows they are always thinking about sex. She wants them to be safe when they get into intercourse,” said the source.
