Ekitone singer, Desire Luzinda has for long lied to fans that she is twenty something. In fact, at every birthday, the mother of one has been telling fans that she has stagnated at 25 years. She recently explained why she has been 25 years for the longest time.
She said; “Hiding my age was never part of me, I always told my true age from day one, but I realised people are more interested in the negative things about me, so I chose to give them what they wanted to hear. I never started the rumour of ‘forever 25’, but I chose to play along with it, because people seemed to like it. I will never tell my true age again. I know I am growing by the year, but I am forever 25.”
This year, however, Desire seems not to be shy about her real age as she told us that she has turned not 25, not 30 but 32 years of age. Luzinda was born 15th August 1984, in Wandegeya along Bombo Road in Kampala. Her parents are Mr. Jamada Luzinda and Mrs. Imelda Byanyima Luzinda.
Mr Jamada Luzinda is a son of Mr.Salim Kizito and qualified teacher at Kings College Buddo. Desire Luzinda’s Mother Mrs. Imelda Byanyima Luzinda is an agriculturalist from the western part of Uganda of Ankole.
