Singer Desire Luzinda could be arrested soon after she was dragged to court again by another city businessman for failure to pay a debt worth Ushs 20Million. This comes after Ronald Kaliisa, a businessman in Kampala claimed that Desire borrowed Ushs 20Million from him two years back but she has since failed to pay back.
Kaliisa’s lawyer Ocheng indicated that Desire issued them cheques that all bounced which she had earlier drawn from her Housing Finance Bank account yet she knew it was closed.
Ocheng also indicated that Desire was informed about the bounced cheques but refused to respond and even decided to cut off communication something that forced Kaliisa to file a case no. 145/2015 at Mengo court in January.
Kaliisa is said to have met Desire at music concerts and the two became friends taking her as a good person to the extent of lending her money.
