It pays to be well connected, especially to very rich men. If they don’t clear your debts, they will get you out of prison, or build you a house or even support your music career. It pays!
News on our desks indicates that embattled singer, Desire Luzinda has turned to her tycoon friend, Jack Pemba for money. Sources reveal that the singer has asked for 150 million shilling to help her clear her debts which landed her in jail recently as she returned from a gig in Congo.
The request comes a few days after we revealed that the same tycoon had built the singer a mansion worth 500 million. Although her ex-lover, a Nigerian man called Franklin disputes the fact that Desire owns a house, the singer insists that it is hers and she will be entering it officially very soon, thanks to the tycoon.
Desire has had a lot of debt issues from the time she was arrested in October last year for failing to clear money lenders to the time she was accused of failing to pay a lecturer 24 million shillings used to run a successful Black and White concert. The singer clearly has had a rough time with love and finances.
We only hope things get better for her as she learns to live within her means.
We will keep you updated.
