Singer Desire Luzinda was arrested this afternoon and taken to Central Police Station (CPS) over a debt of Ugx 21million she got from Peter Mugwanya, a money lender in Kampala. She was later dragged to high court to find a solution.
According to reports, the curvy Desire tried to make a few calls to a few rich men in town she has connections with but all in vain.
However, our sources revealed that former Kampala mayor Nasser Ssebagala commonly known as Seya is the one who rescued the singer after accepting to pay Ugx 10million cash which he ordered her to pick from his home in Kisaasi.
The high court has ordered the singer to clear the remaining balance of Ugx 11million not later than 30th November giving her a period of one month or else face arrest again.
