Radio and TV personality Denzel Mwiyeretsi surprised many after he emerged winner in a celebrity cook-off held during the Tokosa Food Festival on Sunday.
This after he managed to see off the biggest contender Sheila Saltofte, who seemed a favorite to take the day after wowing the crowd with her kitchen lingua. However, as it later turned out that was not enough impress the judges.
According to the judges, Denzel had the most tasty meal. He prepared a custom meal of chicken spiced wine, pineapple and lots of pepper.
To also participate in the competition was Andrew Kyamagero, who came in 3rd position and Kabs Haloha who came last.
All the participants walked with several goodies that included Ugachick chicken, shopping vouchers and a gas cylinder.
