Charlie Denzel Mwiyeretsi seems to have decided to enjoy every single minute of his stay in South Africa after he got another opportunity to go back in the Big Brother house for the second time along with other nine ex-housemates as fake housemates to spice up the reality TV game show.
Denzel could not wait to share his first exciting experience in South Africa after he revealed how he had a daring encounter with police before he went into the house.
The Urban TV presenter says he was jealousy of the smoothness of Sandton roads compared to his home roads full of pot holes and decided to lie to the driver of the car he was traveling in that he had an international driving license such that he could also enjoy a ride on the smooth roads.
However after switching the seats, unlucky Denzel who had not even driven a kilometer spotted a police car following him and that’s when he confessed to the driver that he was lying about having an international driving license. He shared the dialogue that ensued with the police on his Facebook wall bragging about bribing a police man.
He posted: “Window down and this white police officer asks for my licence. Quickly, I thought… ah, let me try my Ugandan tricks. So I smiled, reached for my wallet, I said ‘Hello Officer, I lost my local driver’s licence, but I have the international drivers licence!
He said, “let me see it then;’ … and with shivering hands I pulled out $50 note. The officer suddenly said, “you are a daring youngman, but I think I recognise that international driver’s licence. Let me see it.”
Denzel concluded saying that he didn’t know these white officers could be bribed too.
