Local TV personality Shadic Smith has allegedly been kidnapped.
The “Celeb Jazz” host on Delta TV is said to have gone missing on Thursday, July 1 and all attempts to reach him have been futile.
According to a statement released on the TV station’s Facebook page on Saturday, Shadic left work at around 8pm on Thursday to go and cover Ivan Ssemwanga’s Farewell party before he went missing.
They posted: “It’s now the second day ever since Shadic Smith went missing this week! We have already reported this matter to Kibuye Police station and investigations have started. The Celeb Jazz host, left work on Thursday at around 8:13PM to go to the ‘FAREWELL IVAN SSEMWANGA’s’ party to carry out his journalistic duty as usual. We have tried calling him, but his numbers are off.”
