Deejay Lito proved that he’s the next big thing on Uganda’s entertainment scene last Saturday evening at the Club Dome in Mbarara when he emerged as the best deejay during his set.
Lito was extremely good to the extent that the organizers gave him a second set when performances were done.
Lito was among the deejays to play at the club dome event at Nkore Place but ended up being the headlining act.
His first session came at 10pm and took the audience through a marathon of songs that left the whole crowd on their feet.
His session that lasted an hour saw the deejay play a mixture of songs and not only the famous ones but tinkering them with those that were not obvious.
He played throwback songs like Phantom Lovin’s Ompalula, Goodlife’s Lwaki Onumya, Muko Muko by King Michael, Rabadaba’s Bwekili, then tickled them more with reggae jams especially Bob Marley’s Redemption song, one love among others. Not to exclude the millennials, he mixed in latest songs like Ruger’s Girlfriend, Kizz Daniel’s Buga and others.
Lito returned after Vinka’s performance and took the audience through his second session till the wee hours of the morning.
