Deejay Bugy, a rising star in the vibrant entertainment scene of Kampala and its neighboring districts, is making waves with his musical prowess and unique ability to connect with his audience both online and through live events.

Bugy’s passion for music is palpable, and he has harnessed the power of various social media channels and live performances to create a dedicated and engaged online community. His social media presence boasts over 14,000 loyal followers across platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and Mixcloud.

You can catch Deejay Bugy spinning tracks on Next Radio every Friday during the “Club House” and every Saturday as part of the “Top 20 Countdown.” He’s also graced some of the biggest stages in the region, including Jameson & Friends, Blankets & Wine, and Nyege Nyege. In addition to these renowned events, Bugy has performed at popular Kampala nightspots like Guvnor, Kush Lounge, Vault, and Shisha Nyama, among others.

Introducing “The Bugy Show”

For the past three years, Deejay Bugy has been hosting an event he dubbed “The Fresh Experience.” This event aimed to showcase emerging talent, both in the realm of deejays and artists, and was hosted at venues like The Yard, Lazio, and Exo Lounge, typically drawing in crowds of 200 to 300 revelers. The “Fresh Experience” featured impressive performances from budding artists such as Denesi, Kohen Jaycee, Shawn Maine, and talented deejays like Kuzzi, Lonewalker, Dkay, Soundtrack, and Kaks.

With Deejay Bugy’s brand gaining rapid momentum, especially among campus students and middle-class youths, the management has decided to take the event to the next level and rebrand it as “The Bugy Show.”
