Many people especially those who are starting to appreciate the works of their own locals have been on tenterhooks to see if Deception can have a chance to bounce back in season 2 following a strategic move by the producers of “Beneath the lies” to premier it on a much competing station just weeks before Deception could return on NTV.
No one had ever wished to have a competitor lie right on his nose so whatever goes wrong in the camp of your competitor works in your favor therefore it’s a blessing in disguise for the producers of Deception that Beneath the lies has stopped airing following reports that their footage was allegedly stolen.
“Beneath the lies” came with a banger trailer and immediately switched people’s attention from Deception considering a quite number of local celebrities that were cast in the TV series and therefore posed a threat to NTV but reports that it won’t be airing any more justifies the early come back of Deceptions that premiered season 2 yesterday.
People therefore with that hunger for local content will have no alternative than to continue with Deception which is more less at the same rating with Beneath the lies despite high quality machines employed by Beneath the lies technical team.
