D’banj’s humanitarian efforts in Africa are not going unnoticed.

The singer, who has been hard at work trying to bring attention to development in the continent, has been praised by World Bank president Jim Yong Kim.

He took to his Facebook page to write a great message about the Nigerian superstar. He said: “D’banj is one of Nigeria’s most popular musical artists, and someone who has used his star power to bring attention to serious development issues, such as the need for more investment in Africa’s agriculture…”

D’banj has joined top international stars in the promotion of agriculture in Africa in the ONE campaign.
