Singer Dax Vibez has advised fellow musicians to steer clear of controversies if they want to achieve lasting success in the competitive Ugandan music industry.

The singer made the remarks during a press conference held yesterday ahead of his much-anticipated All-White Concert set to take place at UMA Show Grounds.
While reflecting on his journey, Dax Vibez revealed that his passion for music began humbly—singing in his bathroom.
He narrated how, at the start, many dismissed his efforts, branding his singing as “noise” and discouraging him from pursuing music. Despite repeated criticism and failed studio sessions, he remained determined, eventually finding his footing in the industry.
“It was a dream that started out in my bathroom. People kept saying I was making noise for them. I went to the studio and tried so hard but kept failing. I released songs and lost all morale but when I got people who believed in me, I bounced back. At the end of it all, I’m here to celebrate Dax,” he shared.
Dax Vibez emphasized that success in music does not require engaging in vices or scandals. Instead, he encouraged artists to stay disciplined and focused.
“You do not have to do drugs to be great. You can use drugs when you decide to. You do not have to do alcohol, rob, lie, or prostitution; you can win. Stay on course; God is still working, and it is just a matter of time before you get your big break,” he added.
