Dax Vibez has spoken out following his recent release from jail in Jinja, where he had been detained alongside his brother, fellow singer Mikie Wine.

In an emotional statement, Dax revealed he was subjected to physical abuse while in custody, including beatings and a disturbing incident where his private parts were squeezed by unknown individuals.

According to Dax, he was on his way back to Kampala when he received a distress call from Mikie Wine, alerting him that he was in trouble. He turned back to check on his brother and found him at a police station in Jinja.

“People I found there approached me and started touching me,” Dax recounted. “When I pushed them away, they arrested me, claiming I had fought with the DPC and some other people.”

The brothers were held for two days, but Dax says it felt like a month behind bars. During that time, Mikie reportedly suffered an ulcers attack while Dax endured harsh treatment from those around him.

“I was beaten and my private parts were squeezed,” Dax said. “But I’m a ghetto youth. I’ll be okay.”

No official statement has been issued yet by police regarding the claims.
