Some rioting fans in Congo reportedly disrupted a concert in Lubumbashi, where Nigerian singer Davido was slated to perform.
According to Davido, who commented via his Snapchat on Friday, July 8, 2016, a female artiste who was supposed to open the stage for him was raped in the violence.
He wrote, “there’s a riot at my show. Police VS fans, crazy F**king shit. They raped one of the opening acts opening for me”.
Fellow Nigerian singer, Wizkid, who was also listed to perform was also affected by the incident, which brought the state security to a face-off with the fans.
This follows reports concerning the cancellation of Wizkid’s performance in London due to Visa problems.
