David Lutalo was earlier reported to have boycotted a show in Malaba that led to his arrest, something he has disputed. He has further narrated to us what exactly happened on the day of the alleged arrest.
Through his manager Derrick Orone, we have learnt that the singer arrived at the concert venue in Malaba much earlier than his performance time but the promoters were disorganized.
Derrick told us, “We had two shows one in Malaba and the other in Mbale. We agreed with the Malaba promoter that David Lutalo would be in Mbale first then head to Malaba and at that point he told us 2am, at 1:30 am we were at venue but it was unfortunate that all property had been destroyed. Apparently the promoter did not have any curtain raisers as he made people wait for Lutalo from 8pm to 2am without being entertained. That was very inconsiderate of him. David and I checked into the station but were out soon as all our contracts indicated there was no breach of contract.”
Meanwhile, Lutalo’s latest video I love you is trending on top TV and Radio stations. His latest singles Manya and Ujuwee are also doing well on radio.
David Lutalo is also said to be in a new song with Nigerian singer Timaya and the duet will be out later this month.
