Struggling singer David Lutalo has yet been hit by another setback after one William Kasozi threatened to sue the singer for unpaid bills. William, a taxi driver at Bakuli stage in Kampala, has accused Lutalo of defaulting transport fares and threatened to drag him to court.
William Kasozi says Lutalo hired him for a full month to drive him and his friends/fellow singers to different destinations where they had concerts and agreed a fixed amount of 600,000/= after the 30 days. Kasozi, however, claims he only got 100,000 of the agreed amount. “I went to meet him at his studios in Mengo, Lutalo told people he had never seen me, I was shocked by his statement,” said a seemingly dejected Kasozi.
However, David Lutalo has rubbished these allegations claiming he does not know anybody by the name William Kasozi. He further asked the complainant to present receipts for the contract if it existed anyway.
