Dave Kazoora and Zari Hassan Land Mega Tourism Deal

Celebrated media personality Dave Jk Kazoora and socialite Zari Hassan are all smiles after sealing a lucrative deal with the Ministry of Tourism to promote Uganda.

Reports sipping in indicate that the two will be spearheading ‘Tulambule Ne Zari’ an initiative to market Uganda to not only the foreigners but also the locals.

Tourism minister Hon Godfrey Kiwanda on Thursday unveiled Ugandan South Africa based socialite Zari Hassan as Uganda’s new tourism social media ambassador.

Zari arrived at Entebbe International Airport at 2pm in the company of her sister Zara and media personality JK Kazoora.

She was in the evening unveiled at the Ministry of Tourism Head Offices in Kampala.

“Convoy as we headed to the Minister of Tourism offices to meet Hon Minister Godfrey Kiwanda for a press conference ahead of ‘Zari Tours The Pearl of Africa Tour’ starting next week as part of The Tourism & Digital
Transformation campaign,” she posted on social media.

She will embark on a Tourism & Digital Transformation Campaign running under the theme “Zari tours the Pearl of Africa”.

On the otherside, Dave Kazoora will also produce TV series that will feature Zari and other influential celebrities to gravitate more tourists to come and visit the pearl of Africa, Uganda.

It will kick off on November 6, 2018 and Zari will be touring all parts of the country.

Addressing press at Uganda Media Centre on Friday morning, Hon Kiwanda talked about the annual tourism sector review conference scheduled for 9th November 2018. He said the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife & Antiquities is organizing the 9th Annual Sector Review that will take place at Hotel Africana.

It will be under the theme “Enhancing inclusiveness in tourism for sustainable job & wealth creation”.
