NTV Uganda’s presenter Dave Dash has come out to express his anger on local MCs who accept to be hired cheaply to MC on an event. In an Instagram post, Dave Dash explained how it is unfair for a good MC to be paid little for a great work he has done.
He asked them to turned down every offer they get which doesn’t suit their services and that if it needs him to pay them to turn the offer down he can do it. he wrote;
“F to all the mcees that have made the mcing game so cheap I’ll still stand by my word I’ll never do a cheap gig I rather do it for free… You guys that are in every bar being paid 200k or 300k to mc I don’t actually blame you but If any mc out there is doing a good job and someone calls you cheaply please call me I’ll find a way to pay you to turn down the offer 2016 has no games and truth is you guys have kids that you want to do everything in this world for make it worth it.. I’m feeling a little mad cause if u allow people to use you that changes everything guys come to my team and make money worth it.. do it or leave it as long as its not worth it cause they need you or they have a crappy event join me cause I’m starting an mc company and believe me your kids will have it all including the trips to places you’ve never dreamt of.. I know Mugisher Roger feels me on this”
