Ugandan born international striker, Mzei Daniel Sserunkuma has finally returned to the Kenyan Premier League after a stint with Armenian side Ulisses.
The goal poacher was signed by Kenya Premier League side Bandari FC and GOTV Shield Cup reigning champions in a bid to compete favorably with their competitors.
“I am very glad to join the GoTV winners and looking forward to next season. I am happy to join because they are going to represent Kenya in CAF continental and it’s a big challenge to me,” Sserunkuma remarked as quoted by Soka.ke
The ex-Gor Mahia star and former Kenyan league MVP left Tanzanian giants Simba last year to join Ulisses in Armenia. He now joins Bandari to play alongside other two Uganda nationals, George Abege and Musa Mudde.
Sserunkuma featured for the Red Eagles of Express FC and Victors during his spell in Uganda and later moved to Kenya where he joined Nairobi City Stars in 2011.
After one season, the prolific striker left for Gor Mahia where he won two league titles in 2013 and 2014 under the charges of former Uganda Cranes coach, Bobby Williamson before joining Simba SC in Tanzania.
