Known for his swift dance moves, Uncle Walter has set a dance night at National Theatre on 21st and 22nd October.

“Following a rumor that the Uganda National Cultural Center (National Theatre) was intended to be sold off to a private owner. I battled with so much disappointment and worry for losing a place I’ve called home. The National theatre has nurtured and mentored me into an exceptional dancer and to see that it would be no more, was one thing that constantly triggered me into questioning my cultural life span.” Uncle Walter said as he bids farewell to the national theatre on the dance night.
Cover charges will be 50,000ugx per person per night starting 7:30PM on all the 2 days.
“Its a creation aiming to raise awareness about our self make, self discovery and our exceptional abilities; calling us as individuals and natives of a treasury -Uganda. The piece exhibits how and what our leaders and advocates have done to preserve what is left of our African Traditional Culture, amidst the overwhelming changes birthed by the so-called Civilized-World” he added.
