Former T-Nation host Crysto Panda has spoken out about his 2022 departure from NTV Uganda, clarifying that he was not fired but chose to leave amid internal changes at the station.

Speaking in an interview, Panda explained, “They talked to the producer and said they wanted to revamp. That was the time NTV was going through some changes.”

However, Panda hinted that management issues, particularly concerns about his salary, may have played a role in his exit.

“I was one of the most paid presenters. I think some top people were uncomfortable with how much I was earning,” he revealed, adding that he once overheard his bosses complaining about his pay.

Panda had been a key figure at NTV for 5 years, taking over T-Nation from Sheilah Gashumba and becoming a staple in high school entertainment circles before moving on to focus on his music and now a radio presenter.
