Troy Wamala, the prime suspect in the death of late singer Mowzey Radio, has appealed his 14-year jail sentence.

According to Meddie Sembajja, a member of Mowzey Radio’s family, Wamala’s appeal was heard in court this week.

However, the court ruled that Wamala’s reasons for the appeal were without merit and declared them null and void.
The court has, however, promised to deliver its final judgment on Wamala’s appeal at a later date.
Mowzey Radio, whose real name was Moses Sekibogo, tragically passed away on February 1, 2018, at Case Hospital in Kampala.
He had been in the Intensive Care Unit for almost two weeks following severe head injuries sustained during a bar brawl in Entebbe Town.
