After court last week put an injunction on all songs that were recorded by Elly Wamala and later redid by some of the local artistes including the latest Viola by Geo Steady which got the children of the fallen singer furious and accused the upcoming artiste of using their father’s work without their consent is yet to be fully effective as some TVs and Radio stations are still playing some of the affected songs.

According to our reliable sources, the injunction has been served to all stations in the country. However, some stations have come through their representatives and said they are yet to receive their copies.
One of the family members who preferred anonymity told us that they won’t hesitate to sue or demand compensation from any station that continues to play the music.
