He may be married to football, but this didn’t stop Emmanuel Okwi from getting married to the other love of his life Florence Nakalegga.
The Uganda Cranes and Simba SC striker who wedded his fiancee Florence on Saturday 27th at a great reception that took place in Kampala amongst close relatives and friends. Also among the guests at the event were several footballers that he plays with both in the national team and outside the country at his football club.
“He couldn’t stop glancing at the love of his life as he took a moment to wave at guests who were all happy for him. He also kept smiling the whole time even when he was at church at Rubaga Miracle centre,” said one of the guests who attended the wedding.
Musician Rema was the main entertainer at the ceremony that was held at UMA Conference Hall in Lugogo.
Emmanuel Arnold Okwi is a Ugandan professional footballer who plays as a striker for Simba SC in Tanzania and the Uganda national football team. He played football as a boy while at St. Henry’s College Kitovu and excelled up to the level of school team.
