Jinja’s celebrated comedian Swengere, real name Hussein Ibanda, has been asked to lay down his tools at Baba FM.
Swengere has been suspended for a month over misconduct at his workplace, according to a letter issued to him. The letter further indicates that he won’t be paid during this period and will not be allowed on the station’s premises until the end of his suspension.
Meanwhile, our sources have intimated to us that Swengere’s issues at his work place arise from his other duties as a member of the Kyabazinga Press Unit, a group that heads the Busoga Kyabazinga’s media team and events management.
However, the celebrated Jinja comedian will seemingly not feel the pinch since his suspension comes just weeks after his ‘Swengere Comedy group’ sealed a juicy deal with Bukedde TV.
