Following reports that city comedian and Capital fm presenter Patrick Salvado Idringi had been fired from Capital fm, the funny man has stepped forward and revealed that has not been fired from the Kisementi based station.

“No I’m not quitting Capital FM, No, I’ve not been fired but Yes, I will be leaving the station.” He said.

Salvador continued to say that he resigned from the radio station in good faith. This came after he informed management that he will be out of the country for the better part of this year doing shows abroad.

“It wasn’t easy because Capital has been and will forever be in my life, the management and staff have shown me nothing but love and I pray one day I will return.” he added.

And to his fans, the crackers comedian promised a comeback. “But for now to all my Capital fans and friends, it’s not goodbye but see you later and please grant me your blessings as I take on these new challenges ahead of me. This is my last week on air and I want to enjoy every moment with you my friends of the overdrive. Maybe one day I’ll come back and become a legend like ma man Alexander Ndawula. Adios, May the good Lord bless you all.” He concluded.

Salvador who is a telecom engineer and comedian was working with one of the telecom giants before joining Capital fm. He has been working at Capital for the last 3 years. He was working with Alex and Lucky on the Overdrive show.

Alexander Ndawula his friend and workmate has also been rumoured to be leaving the station any time soon.
