Local comedian Patrick Salvado Idringi has landed another gig in the UK.
The “Man from Ombokolo” who performed in London alongside Nigeria’s top comedian Basketmouth in a comedy show dubbed “Lords of the Ribs” on Valentine’s Day has been booked to host a similar show next year.
He posted: “You know you have made it when in the middle of the show, you are booked for the next show 11th Feb 2018, My UK peoples Valentines is coming next year, and yours truly confirmed as official host,…. I know for sure I’m Blessed.”
Held at Wembley Arena, the “Lords of the Ribs” show was a sell out. Baskemouth could not hide his joy at the milestone as he announced his next show at the same venue in 2018.
“History was made on Valentine’s Day at The Wembley Arena, London as fans came out to show support and helping me become the first African Comedian to headline the Wembley Arena,” He said. “I will be returning to the Wembley Arena on the 11th of February 2018, which will also mark my 20th year on stage as a performing comedian.”
