Popular comedian and aspiring politician Reign has confirmed his commitment to the National Unity Platform (NUP) as he prepares to contest in the 2026 general elections.
Speaking to his supporters, Reign, whose real name is Obedi Lubega Reign, emphasized the importance of party loyalty, saying, “I always tell my people that I’m running under the NUP flag, and I assure them that if I’m not under the flag, they should not vote for me.”
Reign will be vying for the Lubaga South constituency Parliamentary seat, currently attracting attention as the 2026 race begins to take shape.
