Comedian Reign, known for his work with the comedy duo “Maulana & Reign,” was picked up by the Ugandan Police this morning from his home in Mutundwe, Rubaga South Division, Kampala. The reasons for his arrest are not yet clear.
Sources close to Reign suggest that his recent involvement in politics may have led to his arrest. They believe he might be linked to organizing the upcoming “March To Parliament” campaign against corruption, which could have raised police concerns.
Earlier this year, Reign’s comedy partner Maulana was also in the news after being arrested and imprisoned for child neglect.
