Comedian Mariachi was on Sunday morning arrested following a traffic offence. He has now been released on bail.
The comedian and his body guard Michael Bunjo have been released on bail after they appeared at Mwanga II Magistrates court on Tuesday July 3, where they were charged with assault, careless driving and obstructing an officer on lawful duty.
The duo has been ordered to report back to court after a two week period.
The Comedian was arrested last weekend after he allegedly hit Eldard Kamugisha, a police officer attached to Old Kampala Police Station Traffic Department who had pulled his car aside and cautioned him against wrongful driving on a one-way road.
