Fast-rising Ugandan comedian, MC Mariach’s dream of visiting the UK was shattered last week after he was denied a visa to the Queen’s land, where he was scheduled to hold a show over the weekend.
Mariach had a rough day at the British High Commission in Kampala last Thursday, when he was denied a visa, something which left him very upset.
However, it is not yet clear why MC Mariach was denied a visa but some suspect it must have been due to the recent outbreak of yellow fever in the country.
It should be noted that UK visas are not easy to get since top musician Bobi Wine was also denied a visa to visit the UK after gay rights campaigners accused him of inciting homophobic attacks through his music in 2014.
