Kato Lubwama who doubles as a local musician and comedian, was admitted at Mulago hospital a few days back. The comedian is under going serious treatment and reports from medical personnel indicate that he is suffering from a heart problem.
One of our reporters who visited Lubwama informed us that he is improving and his doctors have advised him to have enough rest and not talk too much but he still requires Ushs40M to go for Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) surgery in India.
The comedian, however, comforted his fans that he will be fine and should not worry about his life especially people from his home area in Rubaga as he still plans to contest for the area MP in the coming 2016 elections.
He further requested everyone to support him in raising the funds needed to go for operation revealing that he has organized a show dubbed “Legendary Act Of Kato Lubwama” coming up on 13th December, 2014 to raise the funds needed to go for surgery and that details will follow as soon as he is discharged from the hospital.
